Hi Everyone!

Well it's the weekend which will be over before we know it. I know I haven't posted anything in a while but been alittle busy. I am taking on a new venture and have become a Stampin Up Demonstrator as of last week. Still waiting for my starter kit but as excited as can be to get it and get started. I already have 3 people who have scheduled workshops and can't wait to go and share with them the things I learn and have learned through my own card making process.

If you or anyone you know that lives in the Chicagoland area would be interested in having a workshop and having me over and show your friends and family how easy and fun it can be check out my website at

robincollins.stampinup.net

If you are already familiar with Stampin Up and would like to order great items, you can do that on my site too.

If you have any questions, you can also contact me at funstampinup@yahoo.com

Thank you again

Robin

Personalized Wedding Gift Tags

This is something that I came up with by request of a good friend of mine for her wedding.

She is going to use them to hang on a terra cotta flower pot and she will fill it with a few things including a package of seeds, hence the "Let Your Love Grow" part, and have them for a thank you gift for all the guests at her wedding.

I found a punch just perfect, used Distress Ink around the edges, and sprayed it with gold Perfect Pearls just to add a little sparkle. The stamp in the corner is from Gina K Designs...I love that stamp. Then I just printed the wording on Velium and centered it as perfect as I could and attached it to the tag with an eyelet using my Crop-O-Dile.

I had so much fun coming up with this and I think she really liked them. Hope you do too!

I am still working now though and made another Journal with the matching pen. I made this one alittle brighter than the first....could use this to wrote down anything you need or want to remember for a vacation. Make lists of what to take and then just keep adding throughout your whole trip.

Capture the moments in this Journal!

Here is a great way to capture all the special moments in your life with this wonderful Journal that I have made. I used a 9-3/4" x 7-1/2" Composition Book and just decorated it with cardstock and coordinating patterned paper. If you look close and once again I'm sorry that I'm not a very good photographer, the pen even contains matching paper too. It just kind of completes the whole package.

I really enjoyed making this and it was quite easy.

Kitchen Counter Organizer

Hi Well I finally got this done and believe me making this Kitchen Counter Organizer wasn't really the hard part. Getting a decent picture took forever. A photographer I am not unfortunately. So I hope you get the idea.

I made the box out of chipboard that I got at Kinko's and basically started from scratch with it. I had to decide how big I wanted my box to be and then just cut and scored away until it was just right. It measures about 6" across the front, 4" high and 3" deep and I covered it with cardstock and patterned paper on all 4 sides. I then took a strip of darker cardstock and used the lace punch just to fancy it up alittle. Finished off with ribbon and Prima Flowers to dress up the front and back.

Inside there are 3 folders also made with chipboard and covered in cardstock and paper and I cut a circle and used Gina K stamps for the Bills, Receipts and Notes then mounted that on a scallop I cut from the Mini Monograms Cartridge on the Cricut. You can put what you need in the folders to keep organized so you don't have them laying on the counters like I do.

I hope you like it and I do plan on making more. And as long as I can take the pictures, you will see more soon.

Have a nice evening!!

Happy Wednesday!!

Well just dropped the car off at the shop to see why I don't have any heat...and since it has been sooooooo cold, it will be nice to have heat again. Just hope it isn't going to cost and arm and a leg. I'm running out of limbs on this thing.

I have been working on something new just trying to get the kinks out. I should have it up soon and I do have something else up my sleeve....which there is plenty of room since my car is going to probably cost me at least an arm...hahaha.

Hope you all have a great day and a nice rest of the week. Weekend will be here soon.

Happy Monday!

Ok I have decided that paying off a car is not always a good thing because everything starts going wrong with it. I think mine is really sick which means alot more "stay at home" time to craft.

I did make a trip to the store and bought some things because I have an idea and just hoping it will work. So please be patient as I try to get this all figured out. And if it does work I'm thinking we are going to like it.

Hope everyone has a good week!!!
