Hi Everyone!

Well it's the weekend which will be over before we know it. I know I haven't posted anything in a while but been alittle busy. I am taking on a new venture and have become a Stampin Up Demonstrator as of last week. Still waiting for my starter kit but as excited as can be to get it and get started. I already have 3 people who have scheduled workshops and can't wait to go and share with them the things I learn and have learned through my own card making process.

If you or anyone you know that lives in the Chicagoland area would be interested in having a workshop and having me over and show your friends and family how easy and fun it can be check out my website at

robincollins.stampinup.net

If you are already familiar with Stampin Up and would like to order great items, you can do that on my site too.

If you have any questions, you can also contact me at funstampinup@yahoo.com

Thank you again

Personalized Wedding Gift Tags

This is something that I came up with by request of a good friend of mine for her wedding.

She is going to use them to hang on a terra cotta flower pot and she will fill it with a few things including a package of seeds, hence the "Let Your Love Grow" part, and have them for a thank you gift for all the guests at her wedding.

I found a punch just perfect, used Distress Ink around the edges, and sprayed it with gold Perfect Pearls just to add a little sparkle. The stamp in the corner is from Gina K Designs...I love that stamp. Then I just printed the wording on Velium and centered it as perfect as I could and attached it to the tag with an eyelet using my Crop-O-Dile.

I had so much fun coming up with this and I think she really liked them. Hope you do too!

Big and Bright Cheerful Journal

Hi there and hope everyone is have a nice weekend. Most of my day was waiting for my little Dusty at the groomer but he's soooo handsome now.

I am still working now though and made another Journal with the matching pen. I made this one alittle brighter than the first....could use this to wrote down anything you need or want to remember for a vacation. Make lists of what to take and then just keep adding throughout your whole trip.

Thank you again for looking!

Capture the moments in this Journal!

Here is a great way to capture all the special moments in your life with this wonderful Journal that I have made. I used a 9-3/4" x 7-1/2" Composition Book and just decorated it with cardstock and coordinating patterned paper. If you look close and once again I'm sorry that I'm not a very good photographer, the pen even contains matching paper too. It just kind of completes the whole package.

I really enjoyed making this and it was quite easy.

Kitchen Counter Organizer

Hi Well I finally got this done and believe me making this Kitchen Counter Organizer wasn't really the hard part. Getting a decent picture took forever. A photographer I am not unfortunately. So I hope you get the idea.

I made the box out of chipboard that I got at Kinko's and basically started from scratch with it. I had to decide how big I wanted my box to be and then just cut and scored away until it was just right. It measures about 6" across the front, 4" high and 3" deep and I covered it with cardstock and patterned paper on all 4 sides. I then took a strip of darker cardstock and used the lace punch just to fancy it up alittle. Finished off with ribbon and Prima Flowers to dress up the front and back.

Inside there are 3 folders also made with chipboard and covered in cardstock and paper and I cut a circle and used Gina K stamps for the Bills, Receipts and Notes then mounted that on a scallop I cut from the Mini Monograms Cartridge on the Cricut. You can put what you need in the folders to keep organized so you don't have them laying on the counters like I do.

I hope you like it and I do plan on making more. And as long as I can take the pictures, you will see more soon.

Have a nice evening!!

Happy Wednesday!!

Well just dropped the car off at the shop to see why I don't have any heat...and since it has been sooooooo cold, it will be nice to have heat again. Just hope it isn't going to cost and arm and a leg. I'm running out of limbs on this thing.

I have been working on something new just trying to get the kinks out. I should have it up soon and I do have something else up my sleeve....which there is plenty of room since my car is going to probably cost me at least an arm...hahaha.

Hope you all have a great day and a nice rest of the week. Weekend will be here soon.

Happy Monday!

Ok I have decided that paying off a car is not always a good thing because everything starts going wrong with it. I think mine is really sick which means alot more "stay at home" time to craft.

I did make a trip to the store and bought some things because I have an idea and just hoping it will work. So please be patient as I try to get this all figured out. And if it does work I'm thinking we are going to like it.

Hope everyone has a good week!!!

A Deer in the Field

Here's another one. Thought I would do up the card just alittle differently. I even sponges the edges of the card just to soften up the ivory cardstock.

Beautiful Farm

Well, I was able to use more color on this one...still used my cosmetics sponges but also used eye shadows applicators which are smaller and able to get in the smaller areas.

Yes I went to the stamp store again today...that's 3 times this week...so I might be getting alittle out of control but I am really enjoying this. Hope you do to!

A new card to better display my pictures

Ok sometimes I wish I was ingenious enough to come up with certain ideas myself but I'm not. I find this on a video from Dawn5377 on youtube.com on how to make this card and though it was a great way to display my pictures and yet still make a card out of it.

This is an Easel Card that I put together just using white cardstock and matted my picture on a piece of black. It's only 4" x 4" so it's still easy to send in the mail. I used dimensionals on the circles for just enough height to hold it up hence the easel affect.

Hope you like it!

Sun Through The Trees

I did this one alittle differently. For starters, I used the Wild Card Cartridgie to cut out the card. Of course, I still used my wonderful technique for the scene on the inside that as you can see shows through the front of the card. I did use my cuttlebug on the front just to dress it up alittle. Hope you like this one.

A Couple New Ones

OK Finally made a couple more. It's getting easier. I did use the Cricut Home Accents Cartridge to cut out the butterfly. Thought it just added alittle something to finish that one off.

Good Morning!

HI there....well been working on things old and new and haven't checked in for a while. Still trying to master my new technique and still learning new ways to do things. Went to the stamp store yesterday and got more ideas of how to make it look right so hopefully within in the next day or two I will be able to post some more pictures.

Also looking to make brand new things. Just mulling things over so it doesn't seem like everything I make looks the same. Don't want to get boring.

So keep a watch....hopefully I will come up with something good soon!!

Have a great day!

Mountains in the Moonlight

I just keep making them and now I already know I need some more stamps but that will have to wait a week or so.

BEAUTIFUL BRANCH IN AUTUMN SKY

I am having so much fun with this technique. I really wish I owned a video camera so I could share this technique to those who have never done it. I'm not an expert by no means but with time and practice I think I can master this one.

BOATING IN THE NIGHT SKY

The beautiful mountains again this night sky I think is so pretty.

There will be more coming!

EVERGREENS AND THE MOON

Here's another one. I'm having so much fun making these and I can see that trip to the stamp store coming real soon.

Another to my growing collection

I am so happy with the way these are turning out. I never thought I could do something like this. It's always fun to learn something new and actually have it work!

Something new for me!!

Well here is a new technique I kinda taught myself today!! I am just thrilled with the way it turned out so you will be seeing more of these real soon. I used stamps from Stampscapes that I bought at my local (I love it!!) stamp store and got a few tips from the girls there. The rest I just winged it.

Any Occassion Greeting Cards

Good Evening....here is another set I put together...really easy and love these Gina K Stamps and ribbons. Her cardstock is awesome too.

The night is still young so I will be working on another set. Not sure what it will be yet but stay tuned!!

Butterfly Kisses Greeting Cards

Ok I decided to try my hand again at my Copic Marker so I colored these four butterflies and ya know I'm pretty darn happy with the way they turned out and proud of the way these cards turned out. Of course the card holder finishes everything off with the butterfly paper on the front.

I may just have to get some more butterfly stamps to color.

Birthday Card Box

Well finished another box and this one contains all Birthday Cards. I love the colors of Purple, Blue and Green and tried to use all of them in each card. I'm thinking about doing a craft show in March and may make these boxes one of my main items at the show. Not only make them card boxes but also memory boxes for photos like my other post.

hmmmmm I think I have my work cut out for me.

Valentines Day Treat Box

Well I have just been a creating fool tonight. Hope this crafters block stays away for a while.

Here is a cute little treat box that I made and it was so easy. I got this one from ChicnScratch and it took a few tries but I think I got this one right. It measures about 3-1/4" square and about 1" high just big enough to hold those Valentines Treats.

Hope you like it!

Valentines Day Bear

Ok something I have been practicing and still can't master are the Copic Markers. So I thought I would just go for it and use them and make a card. Still need more practice but I will get the hang of these markers.

Greeting Card Box

Happy Sunday!!!

Here is another box with just alittle different twist. This one I have put 4 I guess you could say coordinating greeting cards in it. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out. Even with the Prima Flowers and 4 envelopes they still fit in the box.

Hope everyone had a very nice weekend and yes whether we like it or not....tomorrow is Monday and another work week will begin.

Memory Box Photo Holder

Ok couldn't wait for my goodies to come tomorrow so I made this one just to tide me over. This is a cute Memory Box and inside there are cards to journal on and on the other side you can put a photo. I even have the slots in the corners so all ya have to do is slide them in.

Nice to carry just
a few photos to show off to family and friends.

Hope you like it. There will be more probably this weekend.

Hurry up goodies!! Please come tomorrow!!

Been a While!

Hi there

I know it's been a while but it's been a tough week. I have started creating something new but I'm waiting for a package with some goodies I ordered so I can finish it. Thought it would have been here today so I'm really hoping it comes tomorrow so I can finish these. I'm very happy with how they have turned out so far and can't wait to get them posted. I think you all may like these.

Post it Note Holder in Teals and Maroons

Ok I think this one turned out really pretty. I sponged the edges of the paper and the scallop punch to give it that older look. Yep it's getting alittle easier but only got one made tonight....I'm slacking today.

Monday Blues!

OK well my day at work is almost done. Maybe another hour or so and then back to making more to post here and list on my webiste kreativeimpressions.com I hope I can come up with some good things tonight.

I want to thank you all for your kind comments.

Pink & Green Flower Post it Note Holder

Well they are starting to get alittle easier to think up different kinds.

I made this flower with scallop circles (used Mini-Monograms for the scallops) and I think it turned out really cute. The rest of it is just like the others.

Another Post it Note Holder

Ok the first one is always the hardest I guess. Embellished this one with flowers and sponged the edges. Kinda gives it a Shabby Chic look. Cut the tag from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.

Post It Note Holder with Pen

Ok now how cute is this little post it note holder. Even comes with a pen. I used Doodlecharms again on this one for the hearts, stamped some white hearts on the red cardstock just to give it not such a plain look and put everything up on dimensionals. The pen is just a 3-1/2" little gel pen I found at staples.

For the first one I think it turned out decent.

Valentines Day Candy Holder

Ok finally got something done but it's only one. Will be working on more and will just post as I go along.

This is a cute little candy holder for your Valentines gift giving. I used the heart on Doodlecharms for this one, of course the cuttlebug with the heart embossing folder and I think it turned out pretty nice.

Cute Gift Bags!

Here are a few cute gift bags I made using the Cricut Expressions.

This first one I used the Celebrations cartridge, embossed with the Cuttlebug and just used bright colors. Inside there is a small white lunch bag just the right size to fill with goodies for the kids.

These next two I used Mini-Monograms for the scallops and of course the cuttlebug to emboss just to add a little something to them. Of course these are great gift bags to thank guest at a baby shower.

So fun to make, so easy and sooooo cute!!

Thanks for looking!
